Cruise Dates:
September 15–28, 2012
In the late days of September, the air is still warm and the breezes are just a little more audible as they pass through the changing leaves. Setting forth from idyllic Quebec City, the 138-guest Yorktown sails up the Saguenay River and then to Matane to explore the tranquil Jardins de Métis. Continue to the remote Gaspé Peninsula and then Prince Edward Island to see Charlottetown's old seaport, Prince House, and Prince Edward Island National Park. Also explore the pristine countryside of Nova Scotia, including Cape Breton Island; the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lunenburg; and Sherbrooke, a living portrait of 19th-century Nova Scotian life. The passage culminates with calls to Maine's Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and Boothbay Harbor.
