Payment

All payments must be made in U.S. dollars drawn from U.S. banks and checks should be made payable to Great Lakes Cruise Company, unless noted otherwise.

Prices

All prices are in U.S. dollars, unless noted otherwise, and are subject to change without notice.

Special Needs

Please inform the Great Lakes Cruise Company at time of booking if you have any special requirements relating to diet, handicap-accessibility, etc. Passengers requiring extraordinary assistance must be accompanied by someone who can and will be totally responsible for providing all required assistance.

Tour Protection Insurance

Life is unpredictable. Plan your vacation by being prepared for the unknown with travel insurance. Great Lakes Cruise Company offers a Tour Protection Plan specifically designed for our tours. It can save you time and money, and provide you greater peace of mind.

The cost of insurance will be automatically added to the cruise rates listed. If you DO NOT wish to participate in this insurance, you must notify us at the time of initial deposit and the insurance cost will be deducted from the total cruise cost.

If you have a PRE-EXISTING HEALTH CONDITION, trip cancellation insurance must be purchased within 14 DAYS of making your reservation with Great Lakes Cruise Company. Insurance benefits are underwritten by BCS Insurance Company on Master Policy #52.401. Limitations and exclusions apply. Complete benefit descriptions are in the Certificate of Insurance/Policy provided with your initial confirmation.

Fuel Surcharge

Due to fluctuations in the price of crude oil, a fuel surcharge may be applied in addition to cruise rates listed, at the discretion of the individual cruise lines.

All itineraries are subject to change at the discretion of the individual cruise lines.

Travel Documents

ALL PASSENGERS ARE REQUIRED TO CARRY A PASSPORT that is valid at least six months after return date of travel. U.S. citizens can obtain a passport through the National Passport Information Center (NPIC), phone number: 1-877-487-2778, or via the U.S. Department of State Web site. Non-U.S. citizens should contact their consulates regarding any additional required travel documents.

Cancellation and Refunds

Responsibility

Great Lakes Cruise Company, a division of Conlin Travel, acts only as agent for the suppliers of the travel conveyance, transport, accommodation or other service and has no responsibility in whole or in part for any delays, delayed departure or arrival, missed carrier connections, cancellations, loss, death, damage, foreign or domestic governmental acts, threats or acts of terrorism, travel bans or warnings, quarantine, sickness, injury (physical, mental or emotional) to person or property, accident, strike, war, civil disturbances, weather, mechanical defect, failure or negligence of any nature howsoever caused in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services or for any substitution of hotels or of common carrier equipment, with or without notice, or for any additional expenses occasioned thereby. RATES QUOTED ARE BASED ON TARIFFS AND EXCHANGE RATES CURRENT AS OF JANUARY 1, 2006 AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE THEREIN AT OR BEFORE THE TIME OF DEPARTURE. No revisions of the printed itinerary or its included features are anticipated; however, the right is reserved to make any changes, with or without notice, that might become necessary, with the mutual understanding that any additional expenses will be paid by the individual passenger. Baggage is at the owner's risk throughout the trip, unless insured by the passenger. The right is retained to decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of this trip at any time, subject only to the requirement that the portion of the total amount paid which corresponds to the unused services and accommodations be refunded. If the entire program is canceled for any reason, participants shall have no claim other than for a full refund. By forwarding the deposit, the passenger certifies that he/she has no physical, mental or other condition of disability that would create a hazard to himself/herself or other passengers and accepts the terms of this contract. The airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not onboard their conveyances. The passage contract in use, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the company(ies) and the passenger and/or purchaser of this trip.
