Erie Canal/Saguenay Map
Enlarged View

Journey through historic canals, lakes, rivers, and bays previously only accessible by private yacht. Our vessels were specifically designed by ACCL founder Capt. Luther Blount to traverse the narrow locks and low bridges of the Erie Canal along this signature itinerary.

WARREN, RI: Embark from ACCL's homeport.

CRUISE DAY: Sail past the Statue of Liberty. View New York City's awe-inspiring Manhattan skyline.

WEST POINT, NY: Visit the U.S. Military Academy. (Subject to Accessibility)

KINGSTON, NY: New York's first capital sits in the shadows of the Catskill Mountains. Enjoy the Hudson River Maritime Museum.

TROY, NY: Famed for its 19th century architecture. Gateway to the Erie Canal (pilot house lowered/raised).

ERIE CANAL STOP: At Sylvan Beach, NY or another convenient location (overnight).

OSWEGO, NY: Enjoy this lakefront working community on the shores of Lake Ontario (pilot house raised/lowered).

CLAYTON, NY: Visit the Antique Boat Museum. Explore the North Country's famed Thousand Islands Region.

ALEXANDRIA BAY, NY: (Up by boat only)

OGDENSBURG, NY: Visit the Frederic Remington Art Museum which houses a collection of original works.

MONTREAL, QC: Where cosmopolitan modern art and architecture complement traditional cobblestone streets, quaint cafes and famous French-inspired boutiques.

SAGUENAY RIVER: A memorable day admiring the breathtaking panoramic fjords. On-board naturalists help us spot seals, birds and whales including beluga, minke, humpback, and blue.

QUEBEC CITY, QC: The French jewel of Canada exudes European charm, arguably the most romantic city in North America.

NOTE: All trips originate in Warren, RI, whether by bus or boat. Bus transportation is included between Quebec City and Warren, RI, with lunch en route.
